Life in the air is just starting for these cute Lesser Kestrel chicks.
I was sat in high heat, 39C, for about 1 hour observing the goings on in the surrounding countryside when they came out of the nest and
sat here, just below the solar panels (at LPN, Castro Verde) They are fledged but I was unable to get in flight due to lighting position. Here they are shaded by the wall to the left.

Sounds hot to me! Nice to have the two together. Perhaps a bit too much hand of man for my tastes.
The birds could use a bit more contrast and sharpening.

hand of man is a double edged sword, persecution wipes em out , a few good people try to save whats left...
These birds can nowonly be found nesting in man made structures and protected/monitored areas here

They do look sharper, although the left bird is a bit out of the dof. As far as contrast, it looks like you added it to the entire image, and I would think just doing the birds would work nicely and reduce the impact of the environment a bit.
