Hi Sanjev, like the good detail. I also like the head angle and perch. I would look at the halo around the birds head and neck. I think a little crop off the top would work nicely, more of a pano crop.

Nice composition Sanjeev
Details look good
the white areas on the rock can be darkened a bit will enhance the image

Sanjeev:
Good comments from above. I would consider cropping down to just below your sig line. I like the amount of space on the right, gives sense of staring out to sea, so to speak.
Wish there was a bit more DOF for the rock in foreground. You can help reduce its impact by gently lowering the luminosity and contrast.
Agree with Vivaldo about the halos. Not striking, but noticeable.
Cheers

Beautiful image, sharp with great detail, nice perch and pose, for me would crop some off the bottom, upto the start of the light color of the out of focus rock, and a bit off the top of the frame, nice one.

I;m with Christopher in that I would crop from bottom as opposed to top...to above the darker areas of the OOF FG rock (which I wish was not there). Shows you how subjective cropping can be! The cormorant itself looks great, perfect head angle, and I like the feather patterns on the wings.
