Amazing image, Peter. I wish I had been there shooting with you.
Bird is gorgeous, IQ is great. However, you have quite a bit of noise in the BG and a couple dust spots to contend with. Easy fixes.
Lovely bird! If it were me, I'd crop the top halfway to the head and darken the left part of the perch.
lovely image Peter. like the alert pose & the BG. Agree with others on BG noise & taking a bit off the top.

Excellent image of beautiful looking warbler. Very nice perch and background.
Love the pose, beautiful and pleasant yellow color and nice details.
Regards,
Satish.
Excellent shot, the update is even better. I would slightly lighten the eye if it was my image :)

nice image , great details and a beautiful bird with nice pose
Congratulations, Peter! I don't think I've ever seen a nicer image of this species. (In fact, I can count on two fingers the number of times I've even seen one in real life.) Wonderful detail and pose, great IQ. Yes to lightening the eye just a bit, and Girish's repost helps with the crop and the noise. Some might think the perch is too large for this little bird, but that doesn't bother me. If it were mine, though, I would be very tempted to clone out the oof parts of the log to the right and behind the foot. In any case, this is a marvelous capture of a secretive little warbler.
