Classic bird in flight on blue sky. Looks properly focused, just not sure if it is oversharpenend or not...wish to see the image bigger for better judgement on that. I could also see the subject higher in the frame than here. Super wings-down pose!

i agree with Daniel that the bird placed higher in the frame will look nicer to the eye
i like the exposure on the wings here
I like the pose very much. My comment to add to the others is to suggest using Nik Color Efex Detail Extractor at a low strength (less than 20%, suggest 12% - 15% as a place to start) on the shadow under the wing and on the legs / feet.

Thanks for the comments. I've reprocessed the image taking into account the comments above. I'm not sure I've got the sharpening correct yet, although I did reduce the sharpening on this repost. Both the original and the repost don't look grainy to me here, but this might explain why I'm going to the optometrist tomorrow. :S3: If the sharpening is still off, any advice will be appreciated.
