Prairie Warblers are some of my favorite species to photograph during breeding season, as with some patience and strategy, they can be closely approached when on territory. This bird was part of a group of approximately four pair breeding on a scrubby hilltop in the Blue Hills in Canton, Massachusetts.

Beautiful singing pose, nice weathered perch. I'd give him just a little more room on top (to sing into?).

Super singing pose, and beautiful detail on this Prairie Warbler. What a beautiful bird. I might drop the branch down just a bit, and add more room on top to diminish a bit the sense that you are looking up at it. Great sharpness and IQ.

Beautiful capture with wonderfully soft shadows.
I also vote for more sky on top. Feels a little crowded there.

Very nice shot.
The singing pose is terrific.
I really like the perch and agree on giving it some room on the top.
Well done.

Firstly, congrats on the great singing pose (again) without using audio...I'm impressed by such things.
The bird looks great on the weathered perch, and color contrast works well against the pure blue sky.
I agree with other comments regarding composition. I like the pano look, but add a little space on top
for the implied direction of song...

Very nicely weathered perch this fella chose to sing up onto. Details, colours, pose all good. Too bad the angle looks steep, and although I often lighten the eye's iris I find it a tad bright in this case and may just darken it a bit.

beautiful moment,
adding a bit of canvas on top might also help to make the steep angle not so steep
