Nice BG here Stuart. I think the whites are looking a tad muddy. I would consider brightening the bird up a bit/increasing exposure on it.
Ditto Marina, and although I love the leaves at left I'm not so fond of the ones peeking in at right edge. Beautiful BG.

I like the repost -- the whites are cleaner and retained a realistic amount of tonal detail.
Stuart, I believe it is the contrast that created that muddy look. Have you tried decreasing it a bit? Since it is against the green BG, you can decrease the contrast that will help with the muddy whites.
