Looks like he's really towering over your from your skimmer POV. Well captured -- not a goose that is common around here. Nice light and good detail. Focus point was probably somewhere other than the head, which looks perhaps a tiny bit softer than the rest, but still sharp enough for a handsome portrait.
Very nice image. The high tone of the background really makes it stand out. Good placement.
I agree - nice image, and it's quite unusual to get the appearance of looking up at a standing bird. Looks like the belly is slightly sharper than the head. The bokeh and bg contrast give it an almost 3D appearance.

Nice low shooting angle and a pleasing bg. Maybe another round of sharpening on the head?
Excellent portrait with great details.Very nice pose and composition.
Love the HA,lights and sweet BG, Robert.

Satish.
Nicely composed in a vertical frame, liking very much the soft color tones in the backdrop that don't compete with what is a fairly plain bird...low angle of shot is great and the birds posture and eye direction seems to deliver a rather nice melancholy mood. Could possibly go another round of sharpening, but pretty natural the way it is
I like the layered background, HA and the pose in general, Robert.
Very nice low angle and look towards you. The background compliments the darker colors of the duck very nicely. Good job!
