A very uncommon image of a Common Hoopoe, Satish! I find the pose very interesting and I like to see those lovely colours on the ruffled feathers. This photograph was taken in great light! The subject is very sharp and I like the perch, just a small problem that can easily be fixed: the isolation you did for sharpening is still visible and the background has some artifacts here and there. I would blur around the bird and the perch where the isolation was done and clone out the little spots on the BG.
These birds are quite difficult to capture, they keep moving and they are quite shy-this is one special image Satish!
Kind regards,

Hi Satish,
The lookback pose is very nice and the IQ on the bird is very good.
It looks like you cloned out stuff to the left of the bird and below the branch on the left. I see a lot of artifacts. I would clean up all that area and get rid of the black smudges on the left.
Is this a big crop? You got great dof at 5.6,
Gail

I love seeing the back side of this species, I don't think we see that often. Nice vertical composition and light. Yes to cleaning up the spots at left, and I would have liked a bit more head turn this way (although that would have requiored quite a neck twist!!)

I always like to see this bird, it brings back childhood memories. Very nice image, Satish. Love the nice light and the head turn.

Very envious of that raised crest Satish (and to make me feel worse theres another one posted lol)
Apart from a bit of tidying this is an interesting/different pose. As has been said they are very flighty indeed
making it a high scoring image for me :-)
