Alot of late afternoon shadows on this osprey - it had just landed with I think a gizzard shad, still flapping its tail.
Handheld from a fan boat.
Canon 7d, Canon 400mm f/5.6
Manual Exposure: ISO 400, 1/640, f/6.3
I cloned out two branches beneath the main perch and lightened up the front wing. Then I sharpened the osprey's face.

The angle is a bit steep but not bad.
IQ, sharpness and exposure is very nice and the fish is a nice touch.

Ashley, agreed with Dan, I like this image of your the best. It is tack sharp. Late afternoon sun on the dark feathers is very nice, and I don't see much shadow here. The eye is sharp, the hits is good, and the fish is also sharp with a blue gill. The green vegetation balances the osprey nicely. This is definitely an image you should be proud of. Loi

This is excellent.
Nice light and I like the windblown crest.
Since you cloned out some branches already, I would clone out the branch closest to the osprey. it has no foliage on it and pulls my eye away from the bird.
