I went on a boat ride up the Tenn-Tom Waterway Friday and we passed by a port facility where barges filled with salt were being unloaded. The bottom of this unloaded barge had depth numbers on it that were pretty grungy already so I added to it using Topaz Clarity, Nik Color and Silver Efex - that one in luminosity mode - and added 2 textures, one was rusty corrugated tin. I also added another edge effect, the black edge, besides the one in SE with PhotoFrame 4.6.

It's Different, going to sound crazy but would make a cool postage stamp. Nice eye to catch this...

Thanks Paul! I thought the depth numbers were pretty cool and yelled "STOP!" as we went by so he had to back up and go forward 2 more times to get all the photos I wanted!

Hi, Judy, very different and very cool. It looks like a license plate to me. I like how you finished it off.:S3:

Thanks Cheryl! Yes it could almost pass for an old rusty license plate.

You really brought up the textures. I like the warm light on the rust. A found image nicely presented.
I like Paul's idea of a postage stamp, and I can remember when first class was 4 cents!

Thanks Mitch! Most of the color came from the textures. The barge was a slightly warm tan color.

Nice one Judy, gives a whole new meaning to "rustic". :c3: I like your composition and choice of filters and textures, they really bring out the age and condition of the marker. Good eye indeed!
