Cheryl and I ventured down to St Petersburg last night to photograph the full moon rise over the St Pete Pier. This is the last weekend the pier will be open. It will be demolished soon, and a new pier built.
This was taken before the moonrise.

I like the clean lines and texture. The soft sand and grass makes for a nice contrast with the pier.
