Tangled Terns

Captured this a few weeks ago at a local beach estuary. I sure wish the fish was bigger so we could see it better but neither one of these Forsters terns was going to relinquish their half.
Got some other nice frames as the fight started but I thought this one was unique and had both heads in nice positions to be seen. Cropped it tight for impact and it wound up squarish, which I know some of you frown on, but its what worked best IMO.

I think your choice of crop was wise, seems to suit it well enough and as you say it does bring attention to the action and detail...split second timing has done you well here David

Hi David, very well timed to capture the moment, and great that we can see eyes from both terns. I like how the water is falling off the tail of the back tern, and both well exposed.

No one has mentioned it, but I see a lot of noise in the BG, maybe Ive had a long week, and a long friday. Please tell me Im wrong. :w3

Thanks for the comments everyone. Appreciated. Stuart, I saw what you see in the BG before I posted this. I didnt do any NR because I think its the way the water in the upper part looks. If you look at the FG water and the birds, they look pretty, good?

Hi David, I totally agree, the FG water does look good. When I was observing the primaries of the raised wings, thats when I noticed the noise in that area of the water.

This is quite the shot in terms of unusual action captured. I have never seen a shot like this. Well done!
I would add a touch more space left and right and would definitely run some NR on the BG to the top 2/3 of the image.
