Hi Jon, Excellent sharp detail on the greenfinch, and what a perfect pose you managed to capture. I do like the light too, and your BG has turned out really well. I wish the lower parts of the foliage perch were not leaving the frame. :w3

Thanks very much everyone for the comments much appreciated. I planted the pine tree in front of the hide in the long term hope I may get images of goldcrests which are a good bit smaller than the greenfinch. For these larger finches I think I may end up using the 100-400 zoom to improve on the composition with the foliage.
