I love the symmetry of the cantilever barns in Cades Cove. I was playing around with several different LR B&W presets and I think this was the IR conversion. Next I used Nik Color Efex and darkened the top with GND filter.:S3: I was using a 17-40mm lense so I got kind of a fish-eye effect.
Lovely b&W, Cheryl. I think it needs a slight CW rotation. Also, I might consider darkening the center of the barn pass through area to give it a little depth.
Yes to the rotation and Maureen make a good point about the center area. Fine job on processing.
Fascinating barn! I really like the slight fish-eye look and the effect the IR has on the trees and leaves, giving them an interesting and unique glow. I also like all the room in the foreground leading up to the barn, that it is plain and light colored, really leading your eyes to the darker and interesting details of the barn. Agree with the rotation.

A fascinating barn! The symmetrical shape is perfect for the current theme. I think it looks good in B&W. It does need a rotation. I'd like to see the black area on the left side of the barn lightened a bit. Nice diagonal lines leading to the barn. I like the dark barn set amidst lighter surroundings. The tree branches provide a nice frame.
Cheryl, some good comments and suggestions above. Not much to add except that I would try a crop from the top to force the eye down to that nice foreground. It looks good to me with a crop halfway down from the top of frame to the top of the barn.
HI cheryl ...I love all the lines in the fg and the overhead trees leading into the barn...to me it almost looks like a zoom effect. I agree with Anita about lightening the dark side of the barn. I also vote for cropping a bit from the top!TFS
