Looks good, Satish. The light looks hars but you did well. Fill flash would have given a more even lighting.

Hi Satish, love the inquistive pose, as if he's listening to something. Nice and sharp, and Im fine with the ground perch - just enough not to overpower the overall image.

Rather like the wide dirt perch as it seems to balance the composition nicely, great pose, eyes is very clear and light colored backdrop adds a lot I think. The light does look a bit harsh making the plumage look a bit coarse sadly

Beautiful image . . . nice and sharp . . . of course, would like to see its feet (I'm asking for perfection, here) . . .

I like it Satish. Kinda simple but I like your composition and think it really brings the simple colors and pose up to not as simple:bg3:

Satish:
Good comments from the group. The matching colors are striking, and I suspect this bird can be very hard to spot when still against the earth.
I do find the perch just a bit heavy, and you could work with some very subtle crops from below and right, but this might be the best that can be made of it.
Cheers
Randy

You have so many subjects to chose from. Looks like you can post a different bird every day for months;) Very sharp and exposed well. Not the most beautiful bird in India but still unique. Well done

I'm OK with the perch and composition, I just wish the sun was a little more to your right to better light the belly. Goo ddetails and I like the earth tones of both the subject and perch.

I love the sharp detail on the bird and the way it is perched, the background and perch are nice. I would have prefered the sun to have been lower and on angle to prevent the shadow, but a nice image Satish.
