Taj Mahal

There are so many people milling around the Taj Mahal that it is impossible to get a "clean" version in the reflecting pool. So with many liberties, here is my version with the reflecting pool.

Flip, added a texture to the bottom half, reduced opacity. Lightly erased some of the texture with some sort of funky eraser shape from the drop down choices. Added a layer of Pixel Bender to the entire image and then removed it from the sky. Reduced opacity. Added a light fractalius layer.

Ethereal. With your "many liberties", you have perhaps captured the spirit of the architecture. Very nice indeed.

A lovely creation, I hope to someday photograph the Taj Mahal. Very well done

Good job of making the best of the situation, the image is lovely. I like the soft glow of the image and the cool tones of the reflections. To my eye it seems that the reflection is not as complete on the left side (the top spires of the columns seem to be missing).

Symmetry at its best! You did a fantastic job with the reflecting pool. Looks natural to me. I also like the pale tones--giving it a soft look. Lovely textures. The image looks a bit tilted to me. I think it is due to the base being shorter on one side than the other. Are those people on the base or birds? Whatever, you handled them well.

Anita, You have a super sharp eye seeing the bit of tilt. At some point during the cropping of the flip, things did not come out right and I did not notice it until the end and then I couldn't think of a way to fix it :e3. Those are people on the base.
Kerry, the reflection is incomplete as a result of my hand-created water! If I had noticed I would not have nearly erased them away.

This must be amazing to see in person. I can only imagine how many people are there at any one time. Nice job cleaning it up.:S3:

Thank you Cheryl. A gazillion people everywhere! The road to the Taj Mahal is lined with stalls and shops selling all kinds of trinkets and souvenirs. It was a show in itself to watch young people hawk their items.

Love it what you have done to the iconic building on earth.
For me it looks a little "sinking" into the "flood" at the LHS!! Not sure though!!
