Another one from my Black-tailed Godwit fieldwork place. This one was walking around while alarming for a predator flying by. I liked the little white flowers in the BG in this one. Taken in very late afternoon light.

Great low angle and composition. The small white flowers make the image for me as well, adds a lot of depth with the layers of flowers from slightly out of focus, to fully out of focus, to no flowers at all. I really like that.

Hi Krijn,
I agree with above comments........but I might be tempted to remove a few of the flowers near the lower bill and back..........that is if you are comfortable with it. As is very nicely done!

Like it a lot Krijn! The flowers below the bill don't bother me; my eye is drawn to the dark grass blades that form a v on the forward leg.
