This individual has a very nice colour. The good thin is that the background comliment the colour of the bird. Nice head turn and eye contact, Amy.
HI Amy, A very nice image here from the pose and head angle to the complimentary colors. My only suggestion would be to tone down the perch
I agree with darkening the perch a bit, otherwise a very nice image, the junco is sharp and well exposed and the bg is wonderful.
Amy:
Nice fellow, well posed, sharp, pleasant background.
Please consider posting at the full width of 1024, it really helps display the image better.
I felt that the overall image was a bit too bright, so ran a luminosity layer with a multiply blend mode at 49%. I like the luminosity better with the brightness toned down a bit. Just an option for you.
Cheers
Randy
Very nice Amy the background complements the bird well.
Simple, yet lovely, image. I think Randy's RP looks even better. Love that clean BG and the light is sweet.
Beautiful subject, well exposed and tack sharp.
The background is very complementary to your subject.
IMO Randy's repost worked well.
Simple and very very sweet image of cute bird.Love the pose, complimentary color of BG and composition.
Re post by Randy sir looks superb.
Regards,
Satish.
Sweet shot Amy, what a cutie...all sitting nicely against the smooth backdrop, lots of pleasing fine detail captured, re post is a little better, but the original is still very nice
Hi Amy, sweet pose and HA, and you have brought out the finer detail in the plumage nicely. I really like the colour of the BG, and feel Randy's repost takes it up a few notches with regards to tonality. Another vote for posting 1024 wide. :w3
Thanks for the replies! Randy, I've never tried that technique before, really works well with this image ... great tip, thanks!
Nice image Amy! As others have mentioned, lovely BG and color combo. Sharpness and details are great. I do like what Randy has done with his rework. Which 300mm lens were you using? Looking forward to more!
Beautiful portrait, great details and sharpness.
