It's been a busy stretch for me lately, and I haven't been able to participate on the forum as much as I'd like to. Here's a Bald Eagle shot from my Alaska trip with Alan Murphy.

Excellent flight pose of eagle with lovely colors,great details and beautiful HA.
Love the wing position,eye,extended talons and claws, beautiful waters on which eagle pops out superbly.

The dark background and the dark overall presentation make you focus on the head and talons. I guess this was in your mind with the image design. Great work, Doug.

Hi Doug, an incredible capture here. You have exposed the BE superbly, tack sharp, and just love the concentrated stare. I really like the darker colour of the water too. Very well captured.
A stunning image, fantastic work! Love the pose and dark background to offset the bird. highlights and shadows are exposed perfectly. I'd like to see more sharpness to the eye but thats my only critique.
