1/15 (yeah not a typo, it was 1/15 as the light was low early at around 6am!)

ISO 400

The IS on the new 500 II is just amazing. And the sharpness wide open is incredible.

Sanjeev:
Cute pair, and those big pupils are testament to how low the light was.
I would certainly consider bumping the ISO when working in such low light to allow a bit more shutter speed, even with the good IS. IS is a wonderful thing, but not a cure all, and can sometimes cause other image quality issues that can degrade the image, so think about getting the shutter speed up when you can.
I would consider toning down the fine stick in the lower right corner.
Hope to se more of this pair.
Cheers
Randy
Also might re-crop to get rid of the gray area in the LL corner. I find it a bit distracting , and doing so would move the subject a bit off center , and make for a more dramatic image. Love the expresion on the faces. Lots going for this one , just needs a bit of work.
Good suggestions given above regarding the shutter speed and IS.
I also agree if you can crop tighter to give more attention to the two owlets, they are so adorable here.
Despite the low shutter speed you have a sharp image here, very good with the long lens technique, well done.
Totally adorable! Other issues already addressed above.
Very clean image at such low ss. Great sharpness and nice composition.Love the expression of owls.

Satish.
Well done with such a slow shutter Sanjeev!
I am green with envy at this image!!! Love seeing the pair in their cavity in such close proximity. Your cavity is absolutely a piece of artwork. Love all the textures and the design. Wish that one stick weren't there but agree on toning it down. While I agree with bumping up the ISO in low light, I wouldn't recommend more than ISO 800 with your 7D unless you absolutely have to.
Marina, you can check out more of the Owl pics on my flickr link, they are amazing birds and the cavity has so much character that i shot it & the owls from many angles!

Love it.. Perhaps a vertical crop would work nicely as well.
