Welcome to BPN. What a lovely first post. Lovely colors, light, low angle and nice pose and head turn. The ground/works great as a FG/BG here and the bird shows up so nicely. I'll have to look this bird up and learn more about it.

Love the sharpness and details, the pose of the bird, nice low angle with good background. I would run NR on just the background here.
That's a pretty low angle! Love the sharpness. I would like more of a profile view of the head.
Sweet shot indeed, low angle is excellent, wonderful pastel color tones, very much like the little raised island he/she is standing on, lovely glossy eye with catchlight....like this as is, but I think even better with a selective noise reduction to backdrop, but only needs a tiny amount
