Frank:
Nice shooting angle ,colors. The usual situation with the hen leading the drake around :S3:
I would consider toning down the reflection in the males eye. In a perfect world, would prefer his bill clear of her back.
Cheers
Randy
Nice image, like the female in front, often overlooked for the more spectacular male. Love the water and bg colour really shows them off. I would remove the 2 reddish reflections/blurs on the rhs of the water.
Beautiful lighting a great angle and gorgeous colours. A really eye catching image.
Excellent lighting, nice water colour and nicePOV, Frank. Great to see a female for a change. (Seen only the male in real life)
I think the female looks wonderful. I am not loving the OOF male in the BG ( never have for some reason)
I would clone out the red blobs in the water on the rhs.
Great low POV and love the color of the water,
Gail
I am not a fan of OOF background birds but I like this one.
Your usual Nice IQ and shooting angle and the angle of the OOF bird make this work for me.
This works for me, beautifully! I could wish for a little less on top and a touch more on the bottom, to showcase the lovely reflection.
Magnificent image of beautiful pair.
Love the colors, especially violet sheen on male and golden eyes and reflection.
Very nice composition.
Regards,
Satish.
Beautiful shooting angle.great water colour and BG.
Well done Frank, tack sharp, nice BG and low POV.
what is that thing to the right of the subject, debris or reflection?
Hi Frank, great swimming pose and HA from the hen, and I really like the 'darker' feel to the overall image. Having said that, both pairs of yellow eyes pop nicely, and I too wish the male was separated from the hens back.
