Now that the 600mm is gone, I am down to the 70-200mm VRI. I will have to challenge myself to see what I can create until I get my new setup. At least I can start deleting lots of images from my NAS and start processing more shots.
Removed slight yellow cast as suggested by Marina. Hope this is a better version.
Trying to get the thumbnail to show but it keeps getting me an error at 1000x667, which is less than 1024 on the long side, I am puzzled!

I think for a vertical, it has to be 800 on the long side, Troy. Love this unique perspective you have presented here. The grasses and BG work so well here. Yellow cast mentioned earlier.

I reduced the yellow some, still not enough? Any suggestion to fix it?

I have looked at this a couple of times and don't think it is so much a yellow cast issue but just a very bright BG issue.I might try desaturating the BG a bit and see what that looks like.
I think the beak over beak works because it is perfectly centered between the chicks eyes.
I like the wrap-around prey.Nice low POV,

part of the issue was I believe due to the wet grass in the morning. To expose the brown properly, the green ended up being a tad brighter due to the moisture.
I have reduced the yellow and I didn't see that much of the difference. I think you are right Gail.
