Just playing around with the NIK software I just bought.
1D MK4, 70-300 @ 300, 1/400, ISO 1600. Manual Mode.
The conditions were terrible. Rain, heavy cloud, constant changing light and of course shooting from a moving boat.
Thanks Tom

You caught some great action and processed it well. The composition is good, and it works very well as a monochrome. Very nicely done.

Great shot with or without the old world sepia conversion....the scene really reminds me of some old national geographic image...where was this taken Tom?

Hi, Tom, nice to see you in OOTB! Great image - I love the toning and the diagonal sense of movement. I'd be interested to know where it was shot also:S3:

I took this on a whale watching trip out of Victoria BC Canada - I recall the place was called Razor Rocks or something like that and these Sea Lions had come down from Alaska for the winter. Taken just before Christmas last year.
I was unhappy with the colour version and even the B & W looked so so - I settled with the Antique tone.

A beautiful image, Tom! I love the composition and details, and the antique tone and border complements it well.

Great shot, and I really like the B&W tratment. Classis 1930s look.

Well done Tom, great action and composition. The antique effect nicely conveys the drab and dreary weather. Good to see you contribute to this forum. A mini Bosque reunion.
