These Spoonbills can look so attractive. This was taken 30 minutes after sun rise. I did a crop for composition, a water clean up from debris and cloned some of the green vegetation to upper right corner. Comments are welcome.
Wonderful! I love the "studio portrait" pose of this gorgeous bird (wish birds would do things like that for me!) and the horizontal root at the bottom provides great balance.
The subtle reflection is a very nice touch, too. I might get rid of the bright areas on the right edge.
Some crop from the top would put the bird's body closer to the point of thirds -- the head, although very interesting, is small relative to the body and doesn't necessarily need to be that low in the frame without something in the BG above it to balance it.

Beautiful image. Agree with a small crop from the top. I might tone down the 1 bright spot on the right. Beautifully done.
Thank you for the comments. Diane, I find your suggestion great....thank you for your input. Here is a repost where I also took a little pink off the lower left edge.

Excellent pose, light and overall setting. Just love the reflected pinks. The comp in the repost works nicely for me. Lovely image.
