I decided to play around with one of the images I took on my South Africa trip last summer. Got rid of a distracting bg and then played with some of the Nik stuff. No need for trophy hunting when you can create one.
C&C welcome and appreciated. Thanks,
Rachel

Beautifully done, Rachel. The texture and toning are wonderful. I like the way all but the top of the elephant gets darker near the background. (Even though I'm not a fan of solid-color backgrounds, it definitely works, here.) The curve of the trunk and the asymmetrical ear positions are worth extra points.

This is definitely the kind of trophy I approve of. I agree with Dennis' comments above. The slight off center position gives this image some dynamism. Works well in monochrome. It would be nice to see it at full resolution to enjoy the skin textures. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Rachel,
Pretty cool! I like this....but also think a slight bit of chest skin......quickly fading to black would work too in the trophy presentation. Either way.....a very clever and nicely done "trophy" .
