This was taken on an early morning in the fog at Dudley Farm. I used an Orton effect and in LR changed the Clarity to -100 on one layer and over-exposed another layer and used a Gaussian blur to enhance the fog.:S3:

I like the aspect ratio, composition, and subject. Great depth, too. Green and brown makes a nice earthy color combination. I'm not sure if this image feels so calming because of the green or the fog, but it's very pleasant to view.
Love the very soft, calm feel of this image, Cheryl. I like how the buildings fade into the BG fog.
Cheryl, a wonderful combination of effects & a great composition. Love the details of the foreground against the fogginess of the bkgd. The fence makes a great visual line. And the greens are so rich. I never see anything this green in Colorado that is a semi-desert!
Nice image and application, Cheryl
Like the depth of the sharp branches on the left into the fogged building in the center. Nice elements throughout.
A pleasing composition. I can feel the fog. I think that including the foreground trees and grass, which are clear, makes the fog more obvious in the rest of the image. I like that you included the trunk and some of the branches of the tree on the right. I think the image would benefit from a CC rotation--there is nothing that demands this, it is just a feeling I have. I would also crop out the lower branches coming in from the left frame which don't seem to be attached to anything. As always, creative work.
Really pretty rendition, particularly with the fog. I need to get back up there :S3:
Nice place, good image considering the fog. Well done, Cheryl
Cheryl - this works very well and has a soothing feel to it.
