We went out to the Estero Lagoon last week end, here's a photo of Bob Blanchard with his new Drypod Weekenders. I've installed a sacrifical layer of woven poly to the foot of the Weekender. Its made to wear off in time but it will protect the foot of the sleeve from parking lots while you set up.The new plastic blend is tuff and working really well. Rod

Al before you get your Drypod units next week I thought I'd give you a quick set of install instructions for the Deluxe units. They install pretty much like the Weekenders except for the heavy duty nylon boot.
1. Extend your smallest leg all the way out. You can adjust your height with the upper leg.
2. Slide the sleeve on and pull it up tight.
3. Pinch the plastic on the foot to make your tripod leg move to one side.
4. Roll the extra plastic around the tripod foot.
5. Slide the nylon sleeve on and pull it up tight.
6. Wrap the Velcro Cinch strap real tight around the nylon boot right above the lower tripod leg lock.
7. Pull the nylon boot up tight against your tripod foot, and while your holding it push the Cinch strap down tight against the tripod locking nut. this will keep the sleeve and boot from slipping down
8 If your shooting in deep water use the extra straps provided and put them about 1" down from the top incase you take a wave over the top of the Drypod sleeve.
That's it, I hope you enjoy them. When I'm doing allot of work in salt water I don't even take mine off at the end of the day. I just hose them off and let them on. Thanks again Rod

Blake I made the nylon boots 26" long so they will fit probably every ones tripod. If your going to be shooting in real rough areas this is the one to get. I have a company in California making the cinch straps. I needed a cinch strap that was strong enough to crush the nylon boot and sleeve to lock it tight above the tripod locking nut and still be easy to install. If you just shooting in salt water or mud with no real hazards the Weekenders is all you need. Rod
