I know this is a little strange and it was an unintentional consequence and totally not reproducible. I was doing night photography at the University of Tampa and had been doing in camera HDR images with the 5D Mk III with relatively long exposures. As I was leaving I figured I'd get a shot of the minarets. I had forgotten it was on HDR (or that I had a long exposure) and hit the button. It took the first image and I started to put the camera away while it was slowly taking the second and third image. This is what the combined HDR image looked like. I tried to do it again and nothing came anywhere close. I like it in a "weird dream" kind of way. Since then I've tried it on different objects at night and have gotten some images that I like (maybe I'm weird!). I upped the brightness a little bit in Nik Viveza.
Thanks for looking. Hopefully someone out there won't think I've lost my mind:S3:
