I'm back after being away and then busy for a few weeks. I wish I hadn't missed the texture challenge.
This Hellebore grows in my garden. I cut it and brought it inside to photograph using natural light and a 105mm macro lens.
Editing: Topaz Detail, photo filter (green), selective lightening, brightness/contrast, shadow/highlights, DeNoise, 3 textures by Coffee Shop, Skew left side to make flower larger in the frame.
I wasn't sure about the crop. I wanted to crop in closer, but, that didn't look right.
Constructive critique always welcome.

This is beautiful, Anita. Hellebores are a great subject (I wish ours were blooming), and you've done a great job producing this image. The colors are very nice, especially the mix in the blooms and leaves. I like the composition, too. Cropping a bit from the bottom might work, but I really like it the way it is.

Hi Anita, glad you are back and of course post all the texture images you like! I like the colors and texture that add to the already interesting flower. If I were going to suggest anything for the composition it might be a little crop from the left, but that's in the category of just looking for something to change, not really necessary at all.

Hi Anita - I like the comp as is with the open flower juxtaposed against the closed. The textures worked very well. Nicely done.

Anita, I wouldn't change a thing. I think you did a great job with the composition and the lighting is lovely. I'm sorry you missed the texture theme but glad you're back:S3:
