Nice exposure and sharpness John. It's too bad you couldn't get the entire bird in frame, If you really wanted to save the image, I suspect that you could easily clone in the tip of the tail and add some canvas on the bottom, top, and right.
Agree with Doug, nice and sharp, cool bird! The light looks a little harsh and the head can be darkened a bit. Also the bird is just too tight in the frame, and finally you clipped the tail! But no problem you can fix all of the above, unless this is full frame out of the camera of course.

Thank you for the kind feedback. Unfortunately, it is uncropped and straight from the camera. Really needed a zoom for this occasion.
And yes, the head is a bit bright. Thanks for pointing it out. JR
