The Eye

Late for the theme, but it had me thinking... :S3:

Gosh, I feel like I'm being watched... :2eyes2: I love how that eye is low key and yet it draws the viewer's eye into it. Very nice. What is the parchment-looking layer?

first thought: phantom of the opera. Second thought: my grandmother would have said, "That looks ghosty!" Nice textures and eery mood

Hi, Maureen, I like this a lot. Very mysterious. The texture looks like the bark of a palm tree? Whatever it is is works perfectly with the eye.:S3:

Thanks for the comments. I don't know what the texture is. I downloaded a bunch of these from someone on deviantART a while back. As I recall, he called them 'peeling grunge' or something like that.

Hi Maureen - good thing I looked at this in the morning and not at night, a little eerie/scary but I like it.
