THe shot has a amazing level, the eye level works great
water looks great and the eye of the bird makes a lot a special things in the frame.

Love the low perspective and the perfect 90 degree head angle for the over the shoulder pose. I am pretty sure that the black mask indicates a young male.

Love how there's no break in the FG & BG water. The head turn is special, and I love that mask and the ability to see the details of the serrated beak.

Head position and shooting angle could not have been better. And terrific light. Would love to have something like this in my files. No suggestions...great shot.

The water is lovely with this great low POV. I might have preferred the body to be a little more aligned with the sensor, but the great head turn makes up for it.

I like the low angle, sharpness, HA and composition. Excellent image David!
