Stunning! Looks a lot like our Sora - and if they are anywhere near as shy as the Sora, then this shot is that much more impressive!
Just the right amount of room all around. Greens really compliment the red eye. Beautiful catchlight and wonderful lighting.

Fantastic colours, marshy habitat, low angle. Love the raised tail and the concentric circles in the water. Perhaps a bit of a greenish cast to the subject, but easy to tweak.
Lovely light and subject! That tail is so cute. I would remove the green cast and sharpen the bird a little more.
Excellent image Greg! I like the sharpness, details, raised tail, composition and BG. I am surprised there are not more comments.
