Supreet:
Beautiful image of grey heron with nice head turn.I like the lights and beautiful backdrop.
If mine, would go for vertical composition.
Regards,
Satish.
I really like the heron and the colors in the BG.
I am trying to figure out why the image looks so noisy at ISO 200. Perhaps some PP problem or JPEG compression.
I like the head turn and think this looks nice as is but a vertical would look great as well.

Excellent shot, I love how his head is right on spot with the pinkish hue in the BG. Saw a grey heron for the first time last month - it's a vagrant in my part of the world! Heron is well lit, but maybe the image is a bit oversharpened? I agree with Gail in that it looks a bit noisy. Still an excellent shot, I love the low angle.
Sweet comp. make this a keeper. Well done.
Hi Supreet,
I agree with the above and think the image looks a bit compressed/noisy. At ISO 200, I assume it's just compression.
I like the horizontal crop, but would move the bird a bit more to the left side of the frame.

Lovely image i like the composition and the colours, I think however it is rather noisy, especially for ISO 200
I like the comp, pose, bit of colour reflection in the water. Agree with the noise...
Hi Supreet, great look back pose, and I really like the colour of the water. Love the tiny wave over the feet. I agree with above, that a vertical will also work, and that the noise is evident. Do you mind posting the original.
Lovely shot! The colour in the background is great. Nice placement of the bird. I also agree the noise on the bird, and it's quite noticeable in the shadows. Was it underexposed, and then re-exposed during PP, and that explains the low ISO?
