Curlew in the rain

Beautiful image Jon. Great composition and great low perspective. On my monitor the grass tones look just a tad too light, and there is a slight magenta cast to the image. Stuff easily fixed in post (of course, it might be my monitor needs re-calibrated.). Very nicely done. Now I need to learn to get down low when I can and get this kind of shot, although I am sure my knees will complain. :S3:

I see the cast as well. Do like the comp.alot. great looking subject.

I like the the beak leads to the "negative" space on the right. Very nicely balanced composition.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I must admit I do not see a cast but I will check the colour balance and colour temp.
The shutter speed by the way is a typo it was 1/250 sec not 1/25 sec.

The grass looks fine to me, but I find the bird has a bit of magenta cast. I'm also debating whether to chop off the top a bit, but I kind of the like the rain above the bird though.

I had another look at the image when I had better ambient daylight, I agree there was a slight colour cast, here is a repost:

RP is excellent, I love the droplets on the curlew's back. Well composed and I like the head turn toward you.
