I think it's a beautiful shot all the way around, bird is extremely sharp, complimentary BG colors, full wing extension, beautiful bird. Great job!

Tack sharp shot of this speedster.
I like the wings down position and the "mustache" of windblown feathers.
I am not sure about the mottled BG but it is nice to see something different.
Did you clone something out by the long tail feathers? Area looks smudged midway down the tail feathers,
Gail

I assume this bird is a fast flier. Great achievment to get a shot of one. Love the downwing pose, slight head turn and eye contact.
I don't really like the background pattern. It takes away from the bird.
I would smoothen it out a bit.

The subject has great colours and a nice downstroke pose. BG is so-so, if it were smoother and blotchless between the wing tip and right edge and lower right corner then it would be better IMO. I also find the subject high in the frame...I'd crop a bit below for a more pano look. BTW, I love the very subtle head turn towards you !!

Brendon, beautiful bird and nice capture! wish the BG is more smooth, less blotchy, but it is what it is.

Great shot! I prefer to have the bottom chopped off.
