This is a couple of Dark Fronted Babblers, they come down to drink in late evening before retiring for the day
These are one of the smaller varieties of babblers and very active , the was clicked late evening and i was trying to explore the high ISO capability of the 5D MIII

I like the idea but overall I'm not sure about this frame as the OOF bird weakens it too much. the details on the right bird look a bit coarse/crunchy perhaps as a result of noise reduction or slow SS, looks like the light was very low. BG is nice

Love what you were going for here. It's a decent picture but I don't think the lighting allowed for you to properly expose for this particular scene and to capture what you were really going for. You would have probably needed F11 or so to get them both in focus. Love your perch and your BG and the positioning of the birds. Just wish they were both in focus for this particular image.

Arash, this was late in the evening at nearly 6 PM in a valley so the light was low, about the way the feather pattern looks like its due to 2 reasons
1) Slow shutter speed
2) The bird just first had a dip in the water that makes the feathers somewhat different
