I took this grab shot when photographing eagles in Alaska with Jim. Not the best looking bird but I liked how fast he was "escaping" with his trophy which he stole from an eagle's meal. More of an interesting image than a classic avian. :S3:
Blacks look good, great background, and that is one huge piece of frozen food.
Well done.

Quite an interesting shot here, the multi colored bg adds a lot to the composition too.

A bird seldom photographed, and not the easiest to expose for. Personally I always try and photograph crows or ravens when ever possible.
The food item make it interesting.

Hi Arash - great "grab" shot with your usual excellent techs and IQ. Nice light and I too like the layers of the bg.

A good picture of a common bird is better than a bad picture of a rare bird, if you're a photographer anyway.....Nice "grab". Techs looks good. The way he is streamlined in the frame gives me the feeling he is fleeing quickly as he was. Nice job

What they said, and the touch of light on the far wing is lovely. I would have gotten a black hole where the two wings merged.

Arash:
Interesting visual dynamics in this image. The eye jumps right to the red fish, figures it out, and then takes in the subtle details on the bird, subdued colors of the background.
Not a knock your socks off, high impact image, but one that encourages your eye to linger a bit and explore.
I quite like the effect. The thumbnail doesn't do it justice.
Congrats
Randy

Something different and not too shabby really, like the way the stolen treat stands out well
