A Yellow billed hornbill shot at eye level by lying on my stomach whilst on a recent safari to the sabi sand game reserve, the hornbill was feeding off termites on the ground after a recent rain fall.

A great front angle that makes the image very interesting indeed. I like the exposure on the bird and the low angle compliments the settings. I would have probably chosen to go for a rather tighter vertical to enhance the impact of the pose which would have removed some of the blown out foreground . Nice shot :-)

Very nice shot. The focus on the eye is spot on and I like the color of both the bird and the background. Agreed with Supreet that a vertical crop might enhance the image.

Love the low angle, earthy tones and the flash work. What a cool looking bird.
In an ideal world, both eyes would be equally visible. I'd remove the second catchlight from the flash.
