Very cool pose captured, Randy. I like the wing position, the streched out neck and the feet, that kept horizontal, look excellent.
Great composition, great color, great crop.... you are really "notching up" the "garden variety" Mallard!
i don't know Randy, I think he could get another 1/4" or so off that wing. Great pose, image quality is awesome. Keep them coming.

Nice one Randy. I'm glad you found something to shoot between loon seasons! The stretch really lakes this one for me. Nice comp and background - it's nice to have a water background for duck in flight. I really can't see anything to improve it except maybe loosing the oof spot between left edge and wing tips.

Nice pose, exposure and details, I personally would crop a bit tighter, but just a preference.

Randy you certainly nailed this one, wouldn't change a thing, I did look twice at the feet/legs but I suspect the light was responsible for the intense colouration.

Jon: I did a couple of points of vibrance in LR during the conversion, but not much. The apparent saturation of the feet is primarily from the light.
