I really liked how this young Antarctic Fur Seal seemed so much like a toddler examining its toes that I thought 2 toddlers examining their (flipper) toes would be cute. To the original image I used pixel bender and fractalius, cropped and then a horizontal flip. I really like pixel bender to reduce the many details of an image to something more simple that conveys more the feeling or mood of the image. And I think fractalius reveals patterns that are just not seen in the original reality image.

I like how you processed this. The result looks like it could be an illustration for a children's book, which certainly fits with your toddler reference. In a way, it really does look like two pups rather than a single flipped one. I wonder if part of that is the little mask on which they seem to be pulling.

Thanks, Dennis & Clyde. Dennis, the "little mask" is really the one pup's rear flipper flipped :2eyes2:! The flipper did turn into an object type thing. Here is the original reality image.

Hi, Nancy, I love all the spaces that could be butterflies or hearts or whatever your imagination wants them to be:S3:
