What an amazing action image. My first impression was I hope the horse does not fall over or did it. The look in its eye tells the story, Just incredible timing and the detail and lighting is outstanding. Thanks for sharing this superb image with us Al. !!!
Thanks Al !!!!!! Appreciate posting this one !!!!!
Talk about action The look on that horse is priceless Never seen on event like that in person but seems the rider should wear more protection Do they fall often? Excellent
They do fall on occasion. I keep a file of wrecks.
Lovely shot, Al - lovely and sharp, well lit, and I love the 'spray' of dirt showing the speed of this cornering. Including the barrel with the name of the venue on is just perfect for archival and newspaper purposes!
And then on a personal note, as I look as it, I feel like I'm about to fall over - that's one amazing angle for the horse to be at for ever more in this photo!
Great job.
Hi Al,
This is great, that eye tells a story!
Al, what a moment!
Like everyone else, I'm fascinated by the eye :)
Great capture! I've always wanted to try shooting a barrel racing event.
