The original is a prairie dog with an attitude. He was fracted, pixel bent, and flipped. Then made into more of a circle with PS spherize. With PS transform tool I shrunk the p. dog and placed him in the center of the original p. dog. I erased the bkgd from the shrunken image. Then a finishing touch with Topaz Detail zoom.

Hi Nancy ,This photograph reminded me of some feelings I had just after my Grandson (2) Bit a child (Girl) on the playground . Both Mother and Child looked at me with that same expression ! lol BTW, Awesome work on this one !

I like the colors and the fact that it isn't symmetrical left-to-right. The almost circular prairie dogs in the midst of the strong stripes works well. There is something riveting about those eyes. I keep looking at it.

This image has a lot of appeal, both the composition and the fract work. Nicely processed and very creative!

Thanks, Clyde, Dennis and Judy. Clyde, I can just see that mother/daughter scowling at you!

Thanks, Anita, Maureen and Cheryl. I think Prairie Dogs are fun and I have tons of images. There are several Prairie Dog towns on the outskirts of Fort Collins, the closest town near me and in spring and summer I drive down early in the mornings to photograph. I do get a lot of funny looks from joggers.

Nancy, I absolutely love this one! Very creative, in both concept and execution, and a wonderful tribute image. I especially love how the fract work brought out one characteristic of the prairie dog and the spherize filter another; they are round little balls of pointy fur. Sweet!
