I wasn't participating on BPN when Dave was, so I never saw what he did. Last night, I took a look, and now I understand why there's a tribute theme for him. Your image is very fitting.
I'm glad to see you back moderating in OOTB.
I was not on BPN when Dave was either. But his website is his lasting legacy and will be inspirational for a long time.
Hey Kerry, Could you tell us a bit more about Dave Phillips ? sounds like he was a good guy , being a tribute and all.
Very nice image and tribute Kerry!
Awww..... So sweet. The water is gorgeous. Very clever and a nice tribute.
Nice! Welcome Back
Great tribute, Kerry; he loved his cooters. Clyde, Dave was a marvelously talented photographer who lived in Louisiana. I was fortunate to join OOTB while Dave was still alive. He introduced me to Fractalius, DAP and flips. He had a great sense of humor which is evident when you go through the images on his website and shared his knowledge with all of us and was hugely creative.:S3: Here are some images that I put together after Dave died as a tribute to him.
Thank you, Cheryl, for the images. It helps me understand the images that are being posted.
Thank You Cheryl , It doesn't Take but a second to see ,Mr. Phillips was a an accomplished Artist . I wish I could have met him .
Great tribute to Dave! Thanks for reminding us of Cooterville.
