I hope this finds everyone celebrating the New Year...in good health, with family and friends, and anticipating the year to come. I am hoping to make my way back on here in the weeks ahead...some tough times over the past two months that simply haven't allowed much time for photography...or at least the mindset for creating images...sorry for the absence! I know that to create a thriving community takes time and involvement...I hope to be able to contribute regularly again at some point. In the meantime...I'm hoping this image "fits" here...it IS heartfelt! Take care.

John, It fits here perfectly. It is absolutely lovely and so is the sentiment. How did you create the image? You chose a perfect font! A very Happy New Year to you too.

I love the simplicity of the design and the processing so that the lovely sentiment stands out. I hope you have a great New Year and I look forward to seeing your images.

Thank you for your words and sentiments...all of you. Denise, it is a HDR image of 9 exposures...70-200mm @ 130mm, f/2.8 with exposures running the gamut from 1/60 sec to 1/10 of a second. Used Photomatix Pro to blend the images...added the border and the text...not much else was done other than some judicial use of NIK Color Efex. The bokeh from the 70-200 on the Christmas wreath was even better than I had hoped for. Take care...hope to be back with some regularity soon.
