Well done! Love seeing those 2 additional geese in the grass both with an eye visible facing towards the main goose. Do you have a little more room on the left so that one goose is not so tight? The snow looks perfect and I like the abstraction of the white snow and the white shapes of geese blending together in the bkgd.
This is wonderful Cheryl! I love the texture of the grass and the composition is very nice. I like the way the snow looks, good job on that!
Cheryl, Really nice look to this one. I like the snow it looks natural. Nancy makes a good suggestion regarding the goose on the left.
Hi Cheryl, lovely work and ditto on the goose on the left. I hope to get to Bosque one day...no snow up here yet either.
A lovely image! That one snow geese is in exactly the right position. The position of the geese, and their gradual blurring caused my eye to move through the image. Lovely tones. A most pleasing image.
I always enjoy your images, but the ones from Bosque have been really good. This one is exceptional. I love the texture and colors. Incorporating the snow with the white of the geese was a great touch. As Nancy pointed out, the blurred geese in the background blend so well with the snow. I think that's part of the magic. The circle outlined by the geese is, to me, a strong part of the composition. Regarding the goose on the left . . . It'd be nice if there were a bit more canvas or some cloned grass covering more of it, but the rest of the image is so strong that my attention is elsewhere.
I like this a lot (bird images just do it for me)..the texture and snow effect give it a special look. Well Done
