This is a very lovely and peaceful image. A real down home feel. Your combination of the 6 textures has worked very well for you. I might like to see just a touch more room on the left side, but it presents quite nicely as is.
Lovely vintage look. The multiple layers add a nice depth to the image. I really like that the diffraction of the stem in the glass vase and the planes of the glass offer just the right amount of compositional contrast to the still life of the flower.
Anita, this is very lovely and as Dave says it has a peaceful feel to it. I like the composition and the textures work well together.:S3:
Very nicley done Anita. The composition, texture and overall look work perfectly together. I love the flow of the flower.
Very nicely arranged Anita. I love the blossom and the texture as well as the darkened edges.
The richness of the red is wonderful with the rest of the image. I like the strong vignette, the background, and the negative space. I agree with Denise about the flow of the flower. It's very appealing. The vase and angled stem work very well in the composition. If the image were mine, I'd probably add a little detail to the surface on which the vase is resting -- just enough to ground the image more. However, I like it very much just the way it is.
Thank you all! Good suggestion, Dennis--I hadn't thought of that.
Lovely vintage effect Anita, good work as always
