Each winter I buy potted Cyclamen for my windowsills to substitute for outdoor flowers. They like our cool house.
I took this against a white bg. Added two textures by pareeerica: "Dusky Paper Grunge", Gaussian Blur applied; and "Fairy Dust" . CEP: Darken/Lighten Center & White Neutralizer; Viveza.
I processed it several different ways, and would welcome input on this version.
Thanks! :bg3:

Nice work on the background. Well, the whole image, but the background is just right for it. I think I'd like a little more room on the left and right, but it's a beautiful image. A real celebration.

Anita, I like it just the way it is. Beautiful colors, lovely curves and the textured background is perfect for the image. I don't think I'd change a thing:S3: (If I were to change anything I think I would give the stem a slight curve.)

Anita, this again shows us how wonderfully you light your subjects. The flower surface is soft and delicate. The BG complements your subject nicely.

Anita, this is lovely. I took the image into Photoshop and added some cyan to the red channel to "cool it off a little", not that it was hot but it was a tad bright. (I may have gone a little too far with the cyan but it's difficult trying to work on small jpegs) I love Cyclamen, the way they grow straight up like little arrows appeals to me. Nice textured background and I love the sprinkling of fairy dust throughout from the additional texture. Nice work.

Wow, Anita, this is absolutely gorgeous! The processing on the flower and the wonderful background are outstanding. Denise's version is very appealing too.

Here is a try at toning down the brightness and adding some detail to the upper right border area. Now that it is posted, I wonder if I toned it down too much!

I'm partial to the first image with more pink tones. I would hang this in my granddaughter's room in a minute. It is feminine and sophisticated. And a bit magical with the fairy dust! I also like how the center of the flower just peeks out of the petals.

I appreciate the feedback. Sometimes I have trouble choosing which version I like best!
