I used Nik Silver Efex and Topaz Clean on the image and then brushed on stars etc. and brushed on a light vignette.

Hi, Judy, this is a great way to start the theme! I like the stars:S3:
Thanks Cheryl!
The stars are fantastic! As well as the soft look of the trees. Very nicely done, Judy.
This is great Judy...love the stars too!
The top half of the image looks magical, the bottom half looks mundane. Is there some way to bring some magic downward?
Thanks Nancy and Andrew! I had a hard time coming up with innovative processing on the image itself as some things I tried just detracted from the original so I stopped at a light touch of Clean (which showed up more in the large version) and decided to go with the stars which I thought added a nice touch without overwhelming the image.
This is wonderful, Judy! I too love those stars. I also like the fact the car is coming out of the darkness to the magic outside :S3: Wonderful processing!
Here's a repost with a little more interest in the bottom for Anita. It will make a nice Christmas card!
Judy, the repost is adorable:S3:
Your repost brought a big smile to my face. :bg3:
The deer were a great addition.
I really liked the upper part of the original post. Actually, I liked the lower part, too, but the darkness of the inside of the tunnel was in such strong contrast to the rest of the image that I didn't fully appreciate what else you'd done. Coincidentally, I recently (a couple days ago) upgraded to the new version of Alien Skin's Eye Candy. While playing around with it, I came across something and just had to try it on your image. I figured I'd share it.
Thanks for showing your effect Dennis. I think it is a little too much light though. It might be cool to only have light rays coming from the headlights but I haven't ever done much with lighting effects. I liked Indranil's comment about the car coming out of the darkness of the tunnel into the Winter Wonderland. :w3
Ok, i had to see if I could add a lighting effect to the headlights. Here's my effort, not perfect but not bad for a first time :w3
I like your latest version, Judy. You did a great job with the lighting effects for the headlights. I might go with something between your version on Dennis' version, but....... whatever you like best!
I really enjoyed the progressing images. The deer also made me smile. Good addition.
Thanks Nancy!
Judy, this is wonderful. I think I like your last repost best. This would make a great Christmas card and Dennis' creative vision is another nice option.
Thanks Denise!
